Tier 1, 2 and 3 Automotive Component Manufacturers will be
mostly from the basque country and some internation and
national stands at the expo to display their very latest technologies
and products, plus numerous more exhibitors will be on hand to
discuss how they can participate in cost reduction within supply
chains, and how they can offer new, alternative, cost-effective
manufacturing and supply solutions.

BEC With its open plan layout and maximum
clearance of 18 m, the BILBAO EXHIBITION CENTRE, has
150,000 m2 of exhibition space distributed between 6
halls, all without columns.The 18,000 m2 congress centre is
the perfect venue for conventions, seminars,
presentations, celebrations, gala dinners, etc.

WHY HAVE WE CHOSEN THIS CONCEPT?
The Basque
automotive
components sector is
one of the most
competitive and
innovative. Its
management levels
are comparable to the
most advanced in the world, with a high level of efficiency and effectiveness.
It is made up of 300 companies invoicing over 10 billion euros and employing over
75,000 people, 35,000 of which in the Basque Country. The specific weight of Daimler
Vitoria must be added to this, producing around 100 thousand vehicles a year and
with 3,000 employees.
The new AIC-Automotive Intelligence Centre can be highlighted as a unique value
generation center that enables the entire sector to cooperate in areas such as
knowledge, training, technology or industrial development.
Spain is the 2nd largest automaker in Europe and 11th at world level.

WHO WOULD EXHIBIT? :
The exhibition would be composed of 300 companies of the Basque country and some
exhibits that are nation and international. These companies are linked to ACICAE.
ACICAE: is a non-profit making business association, founded in the Basque Country in
1993, with the aim of improving the competitiveness of the automotive industry.
It is considered to be one of the first clusters to be set up in Europe with the support of the
Basque Government and following Professor Porter’s methodology. Since then it has evolved
rapidly contributing to the four-fold increase in turnover of the Basque automotive industry
over the past fifteen years, exceeding 10 billion euros.
