Countless women aspire to be “beautiful” at any cost, and many men aspire to be with a “beautiful” woman no matter the challenge. Interestingly enough, one of MerriamWebster’s definitions of beautiful is “generally pleasing : excellent”. What an appropriate way to describe such a powerful word as beautiful. No matter what the current trends suggest, it’s ultimately realized that true beauty is a great combination of excellence from the inside out. Whether it be a friend or celebrity amongst us, we’ve all experienced what we’ve considered a beautiful face or a chiseled physique that is void of a beautiful heart or a healthy mind. The excellent condition of our heart, our mind, and our physical body together is indeed the true essence of beautiful. One of the simplest ways to cultivate a beautiful heart is to guard our stress level and appreciate the gifts in our lives. In a society where demanding lifestyles are the norm, achieving a balance life is easier said than done. While exercise helps, I’ve witnessed instances where regular exercise can be fruitless if an individual’s personal stress level isn’t mentally brought under control. Sometimes it helps to revamp the todo lists, make time to stop, rest, breathe and rebalance. I’ve heard it wisely said that we can’t live a positive life while focusing on negative thoughts. Anything positive I’ve accomplished in life began with a healthy thought process. Negative, fearful, and cynical thoughts completely robs us of the beauty of a life ARTS, CULTURE & WELLNESS BEA- U-TIFUL DEFINING BEAUTIFUL EXCELLENT IS BEAUTIFUL OUR HEART OUR MIND 0 Like Email Address* First Name Last Name * = required field Subscribe SIGN UP FOR THE BRANDISTA DIARY FOLLOW US! Brandistas hearing the word beautiful makes  most of us smile. Our personal definitionof beautiful is as varied as  expressions of it. Countless women aspire to be “beautiful”at any cost, and many men aspire to be with a “beautiful” woman no matter thechallenge. Interestingly enough, one of MerriamWebster’s definitions of beautiful is“generally pleasing : excellent”.

What an appropriate way to describe such a powerful word as beautiful. No matter whatthe current trends suggest, it’s ultimately realized that true beauty is a greatcombination of excellence from the inside out. Whether it be a friend or celebrityamongst us, we’ve all experienced  what we’ve considered a beautiful face or a chiseledphysique that is void of a beautiful heart or a healthy mind. The excellent condition ofour heart, our mind, and our physical body together is indeed the true essence ofbeautiful.

One of the simplest ways to cultivate a beautiful heart is to guard our stress level andappreciate the gifts in our lives.  In a society where demanding lifestyles are the norm,achieving a balance life  is easier said than done. While exercise helps, I’ve witnessedinstances where regular exercise can be fruitless if an individual’s personal stress levelisn’t mentally brought under control. Sometimes it helps to revamp the todo lists,make time to stop,  rest,  breathe and rebalance.

I’ve heard it wisely said that we can’t live a positive life while focusing on negativethoughts. Anything positive I’ve accomplished in life  began with a healthy thoughtprocess. Negative, fearful, and cynical thoughts completely robs us of the beauty of a life

that fosters a mind filled with faith, possibilities, and courage.

I don’t believe that beautiful solely comes in particular physiques, the components ofhealth itself confirms that our bodies aren’t designed to carry excessive weight which isoften preceded by living an inactive lifestyle. When we  exercise and engage in physicalactivity, we are able to enjoy the full capacity of the excellence of our bodies. Takingcare of our physical bodies can be tough in the beginning, but it’s worth it to achieve theultimate beauty we behold. Let’s decide like never before to do the work– the useful andnecessary work—to keep our hearts, our minds, and our bodies excellent and BEAUTIFUL.
