When choosing and deciding on labels, that our artist might be signed to, we were generally influenced by artist like; Adele, Ed Sheeran, James Morrison etc.

These artists all had a similarity; they all had a very strong voice and most of them can play the acoustic guitar.

So fundamentally, we choose these artists to be our guideline for choosing or deciding, a record label; as our artist has been based on this type of music genre. (Acoustic/Soul)

Interscope Records is an American record label owned by the Universal Music Group based in Santa Monica, California. Interscope Records operates as one third of UMG's Interscope Geffen A&M label group. It was founded in 1990.

The original focus of the label was on hip-hop and urban music, but by the mid 90's its range began to expand, to where its roster would be as wide ranging to include the industrial rock artist Nine Inch Nails under Nothing Records, shock rocker Marilyn Manson, rock band Limp Bizkit, Helmet, No Doubt and later the Latin artist Kings Of Flow in a unique partnership with Los Angeles based indie Latin label.

In 2004, DreamWorks Records was merged into the Interscope-Geffen-A&M group bringing over artists including Blink-182, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Nelly Furtado, Lifehouse, AFI, The All-American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World and James Morrison.

Atlantic Records is an American record label known mainly for many recordings of rock and roll, jazz, and rhythm and blues. In 1967 Atlantic Records became a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, and expanded into rock and pop music signing Led Zeppelin and Yes.

In 1952 Atlantic signed Ray Charles, who scored a string of hugely influential hits including "I Got A Woman", "What'd I Say" and "Hallelujah I Love Her So".

In 2007 Atlantic reached a milestone for major record labels: "More than half of its music sales in the United States are now from digital products, such as downloads on iTunes and ring tones”, doing so "without seeing as steep of a decline in Compact Disc sales as the rest of the industry."

The EMI Record Label, is a British multinational music company headquartered in London and is one of the “big four” record companies.

EMI Records signed new acts that became global successes, such as Kraftwerk, Queen, Olivia Newton-John, Iron Maiden, Kate Bush, Sheena Easton and Robbie Williams.

On 12 November 2011, it was announced that EMI would sell its recorded music operations to Universal Music Group for £1.2 billion. Among other companies, Warner Music Group had also competed for the recorded music business, but didn’t win the bid.
