BEACH FUN STORY WRITING

Using the words from the “Beach Word Bonanza” list try doing some story writing! Below are a few suggestions of some titles for a beach story. Or you can make up your own title!

• The Last Time I Went to the Beach

• I love the beach because…

• A day at the beach is like…

• My Favorite Beach Day

Try and make your story as descriptive as possible so that your readers are excited! You can add other words that aren’t on the “Beach Word Bonanza” list if you’d like. Once you’re done the writing activity, gather your family around and share the story with them!

Another fun activity: Make your story into a speech that you can share with your family too! Write a “Beach Speech” and you can talk about how important the beach is, the fun we can have when we are there, the things we can do AND how important it is to keep our beaches clean and environmentally safe for everyone!
