Late Summer 2021

Dearest Faithful Colaborer in the Lord’s Service,

Just yesterday I received some long-awaited news and I wanted to share it with you as soon as possible. (This will be posted online soon. Snail mail will follow.)

We have received our building permit for the Migdal-Arbel Prayer and Study Center in the Galilee!!!!!!!

Now it is full steam ahead!!!!!!!

From the inception of this special “place” in the Holy Land where our Lord Jesus actually centered His earthly ministry, we have experienced the Lord’s hand and leading. Miracles. Provision with no debt. Land acquisition (now almost three acres). So many words, directions, from the Lord have been given us. How it is to be used now. And later. (I am not released to say more on the later part.) And yet, along with the evident blessings of the Lord, there was the constant extreme resistance of the enemy. Which, too, is a sign that this is an assignment of the Lord.

In the spring, I was praying about the project. And I said to the Lord, “I would like to hear from You outside myself.”

He said to me, in a corrective, facetious sort of way, “Do you want Me to have someone prophesy to you?”

He knows that I never look to someone prophesying to me as a primary way of hearing from Him. I really have trusted only a few prophetic words that came to me through others and these only if it con�irmed something in my own heart. I did not at all have that in mind. I was probably thinking a vision would be nice.

Not long after, I was walking down the hallway, not even thinking about it, when I heard Him say out of the blue, “A large sum of money is coming to the ministry. When it does, it is a sign that you hear My Voice well enough within your own spirit.”

That very day, or the next, I received two phone calls regarding huge-to-us sums. More than we had ever received at one time! It brought us completely out of debt. Allowed raises to all employees. Financed much needed maintenance and repairs. And more.

But the biggest thing to me was, it was a con�irmation that I hear the Voice of God!! And just this August morning, He reminded me that the subject of my prayer that day was the Migdal-Arbel Prayer and Study Center.

New Project Management

Earlier this year, we were led to procure new project management in Israel. After they vetted us and were convinced of the spiritual value of this project, the highly respected

Migdal Arbel Prayer and Study Center in the Galilee.

I am thankful for and appreciate all the dedicated work of previous management, but it came time to make the change into highly experienced hands. When I consider the projects they have advised, I know it has to be the hand of the Lord that they took us on.

The Autumn Assembly of Prayer

Again we will meet October 13-18, 2022, at the former Mel Tillis Theater, now called Encore, where we have met for several recent years. I do trust you can be with us for effective united prayer at this season, which could be described like Charles Dickens’ “the best of times and the worst of times” in The Tale of Two Cities. For us who are believers, it is but the preamble to a future which is as bright as God can make it!!!

Never Give Up on Truly Heaven-Inspired Dreams.

Hab. 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

I know that we must always consider the primary meaning of a Scripture. On that level, the Lord spoke through Amos regarding a particular vision for a particular people and time. However, I have had the Lord speak a now word through Scriptures and even phrases from Scripture (particularly through the special gift of the interpretation of tongues currently happening on our conference prayer calls). Somehow this verse seems applicable to me now of the vision of Migdal-Arbel in the Galilee.

How can you know if it is the Spirit of the Lord you have heard? I highly recommend a book I was privileged to edit for Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin, How You Can Be Led by the Spirit of God.
