BBA VI Semester Project Guidelines

Purpose:

Project work is the best way to practice what you have learnt.The purpose of including project report in the bachelor program is to provide you anopportunity to study a problem applying management concepts in a scientific manner. Itenables you to apply your conceptual knowledge in a practical situation and to learn theart of conducting a study in a systematic way and presenting its findings in a coherentreport.

Submission ates:

Students will normally be expected to complete the Project Report within a period of onemonth.

The riginal copy of Project Report must reach !idyapeeth on or before the datementioned above.

If students are unable to complete the project in the maximum time permitted" they willnot be allowed to appear for the !iva #xamination.

The 2hoice o! Project:

The students must do a Project only in the area of speciali$ation he%she has

chosen.

#ach student will choose a research topic in consultation with the Internal &uideof the respective speciali$ation.

The method of data collection would be of survey method.

The students are expected to collect data from the organi$ation within ' to ()

days.

The Source of data can be primary as well as secondary.

The role of the faculty member as a project guide is initially to give guidance on

the choice of the project title and the methodology to be employed" develop*uestionnaires with students and later to give advice in all aspects of theresearch.

The students must submit the +ompany !isit certificate signed by the authorities

from the organi$ation.

,0 The following are the notes of guidance for the presentations of Project Report.

Paper and Te1t: The Project Report must be printed or typed on -3 si$e white bond paper.

The pages should be numbered consecutively. The preferred position forthe page number is typed at the bottom centre of the page.

The text should be in double or (.4 line spacing in Times =ew Roman or

-rial font with font si$e between () and (3 inclusive. >eadings should bein a font si$e no larger than (7.

The Project report must be of minimum 4) Pages.

Mar6ins:5argins at the binding left hand side should be not less than 2) mm.Top" bottom and side margins should be not less than (4 mm.

Title Pa6e:

The format of Title Page is enclosed. -ll students must follow the same pattern.

Submission:

Student must make two spiral ? bond copies of the project report with blue colour cover.7ne copy must be submitted to the Vidyapeeth on or be!ore ""nd(ebruary "#$'and remaining one copy of project must be submitted at the time of !iva. These mustconfirm to the style described above.

for a viva voce examination. 8ailure to do so will normally be deemed to constitute afailure in that assessment.
