Four local Butchers are battling it out to be crowned the winner of “Magherafelt’s Best Banger!” sausage competition.

Each Butcher has created a new festive sausage just in time for Christmas.These sausages are currently on sale in the participating Butchers on the run-up-to the Christmas Food

Market, where the bangers will also be sampled and sold. We encourage you to sample and vote for the your favourite banger. Everyone who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win a hamper of meat, including a supply of the best banger. Voting papers are available in all four participating butchers and during the Christmas Food Market. Voting papers can be submitted to each of

the participating butchers, The Bridewell or The Christmas Food Market. The two bangers with the most public votes will then be judged by an independent panel and crowned winner

on Saturday 27th November at the Christmas Food Market.So get voting and help decide who wins the
