Deep Thoughts and Trivia1. Massive amount of preparation to ensure nothing
happens—Success!
2. Federal Resources (1,000 staff attending) are
tremendous (Energy)
3. Well-being (food) for public safety is a issue to be
addressed and helps keep us at the table
Summary
Public health planned for and was ready to respond if needed but also ensured that potential issues were addressed to prevent incidents.
It takes a community and it takes resources for the state of MN to successfully host such large events but we can do this.
Without ongoing investments in public health preparedness, events like the Super Bowl, may not occur as safely as possible!
