What is CashLinq?The CashLinq Platform is a next generation platform consisting ofbanking software modules developed with best of breed technologies,security, and international standards in mind. The modules are meantto complement Core Systems to deliver great value for the financialinstitution and its customers, as well as to replace legacy softwaremodules in favour of a more modern, faster, scalable, resilient, andfuture-proof software stack.

Design principlesThe modules in the CashLinq platform can be deployed individually,partly, or in full depending on preference and the intended goal. Eachmodule can be integrated into existing systems through standard APIsand protocols. 5 Open banking

1 Core Banking ModuleThe module provides core banking services which include accountmanagement and transaction processing. The application is bestused as a complement to main core systems e.g Temenos T24 andOracle Flexcube, to host mobile wallets and a variety of low valuesavings and current accounts. This will lessen the load on maincore systems, boosting transaction processing performance as wellas saving on licensing costs.

2 Omni-ChannelsBackend ModuleThis module provides a single, universal entry point to allchannels that access banking services: both account informationservices and payment initiation services. The applicationexposes a standardized, secured REST API that any channel canintegrate to so that all banking services become availableimmediately to every new channel that is added with very littleeffort and without reinventing the wheel.

3 Open Banking ModuleThe module enables Financial Institutions to expose standardizedOpening Banking APIs securely to Third Party Providers (AccountInformation Service Providers (AISPs) and Payment InitiationService Providers). This module will help the financialinstitution to get on the Open Banking band-wagon so that theyare not left behind in the global Open Banking trend.

4 Payment ProcessingInterface ModuleThis module is a light-weight Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) thathandles all the transaction processing for incoming requests fromvarious channels. The application acts as an interface to internalcore systems, orchestrating and routing among the available coresystems. This module can be the single entry point to internalcore systems, enhancing security. It is built wholly on thecurrent ISO standards for global payments.

5 Payment ExchangeInterface ModuleThe module is also a light-weight Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) thathandles all the incoming and outgoing interbank requests. Theapplication has the ability to connect to various clearing channelsover a variety of protocols. This module can be the single entrypoint to external clearing and settlement systems and is whollybased on the current ISO standards for global payments (and alsosupports any other proprietary integrations). This module workshand-in-glove (and seamlessly) with the Payment ProcessingInterface but can also integrate to any legacy internal interfaces.

6 Merchant ServicesProvider ModuleThis module is a light-weight ESB providing a single integrationpoint for all merchant-related services - account information andpayment services. Every new merchant will be integrated throughthis module, providing a reusable component with a standard andseamless API, eliminating the need for much integration work fornew integrations.

7 API Gateway ModuleThe module is a single integration and access point for allmicroservice communication. It helps in centralizing securityand provides the best opportunity for centralized collectionof metrics as well as enhanced system monitoring.

8 Single Sign-onModuleThis module provides single sign-on capabilities to anorganisation. By eliminating the need to login multiple timesto multiple internal systems, and remembering multiplecredentials for all applications, it reduces the amount oftime spent in logging in or out, or resetting forgottenpasswords, improving productivity. The CashLinq platform isbuilt on the single sign-on philosophy.

9 Loan Management SystemThe module covers the full loan lifecycle – origination,underwriting, covenant tracking, collateral management,loan servicing and portfolio reporting. The solution makesthe lending process easier by improving customeronboarding, increasing transparency and streamlining back-office operations.
