Dear Barclays,

2015 has been a year to reckon with! Thanks to your support, over 4,000 young people are now looking forward to better lives, with over 2,000 of them already working at new jobs. They are employed with leading brands in India such as Lifestyle Stores, Big Bazaar, Costa Coffee, PVR Cinemas, Burger King, Planet Sports, Accenture, Reliance Fresh, TCS, KPMG, SBI, Vodafone, Spencer’s, Wipro, HDFC Bank and McDonalds.

To end the year on a great note, our final quarter recorded the highest number of graduates and number of people employed this year!

During January-March 2016, HOPE foundation Skills Trading Centers trained over 2,626 young people of whom we helped place 1,331 in jobs. The quarter witnessed a flurry of activities with graduation days, job placement interviews and career sessions and of course, visits by Barclays’ employees which, as always, helped keep the students’ cheerful and their morale up.

As we come to the end of this project and look forward to continuing our partnership with you, we bring you stories of those very lives and some glimpses from our final quarter.

All this would not have been possible without your support. Thank you!

The paramedical training program made history by enrolling the highest number of students in any single course at Village of HOPE in less than eight months – with 650 admissions! Over 500 students trained in computers, beauty care and paramedical program in January at Village of HOPE.

We organised placements – for Begumpur, Okhla and Noida centers – every month this quarter.
