e story begins on the night that Lundy escaped the City, just as the siege was about to kick off in earnest and followsthree main characters; ColonelAdam Murray, LieutenantGeneral Richard Hamilton and a defender named only as Mc Gimpsey, down the long,slow path that descended in to ahellish nightmare.
