Activities(i) Develop a national forestry inventory and satellite forest monitoring system that
includes both bio-physical and socio-economic aspects
(II) Capacity development to implement satellite based monitoring system
(iii) Improve linkages between monitoring data to national statistics, rural development and
enforcement initiatives
(iv) Update land records and demarcate forest areas

• Area of forests brought under a digital map measured in hectares
