Aikido is a Japanese Budo known for its specificnon-violent and peaceful orientation. It is a tool for opening ourselves to others, for personal development and knowledge.Aikido has various technical aspects: hand-to-hand techniques and weapons (sword and stick) techniques.As a traditional discipline, there are no fights or competitions in Aikido and its practice is open to all.

Adult classes

Adultsʼ classes are 5 to 6 days a week for around 10 to 15 hours total classes per week. They are divided into different levels:

Class 1In this class to Aikido basic techniques are studied and usefor body development and stretching.

Class 2Techniques are more developed and more dynamic.Coordination with partner and rolls are becoming moreimportant.

Class 3This class is for experienced students, access with instructorauthorization only.

Buki waza 1Initiation to Aikido weapons: stick (jo) and sword (boken). Learning ofweapons use basics elements.

Buki waza 2More concepts are studied in more complex and dynamic kattas withpartners.

Children classes

Aikido for children is a dynamic activity which is non violent. Aikido offers children a good opportunity for a positive use oftheir energy while teaching them to work in harmony with each other. As a traditional discipline, there are no fights orcompetitions in Aikido. Aikido techniques are based on flexible and circular movements avoiding opposition. There is nokicking or punching involved.
