The solution was to gather a team of like-minded individuals and create a multilingual website with over 20.000 bus routes which we manually digitized over a course of six months. Today, BalkanViator has over 300.000 unique visitors a month

Our goal is to reach 1% market share which means selling 15.000 tickets a day by the end of year 1 and 2% market share by end of year 2. This would yield a net profit of just under 7 million Euros in year 2. Our on-line ticketing system can be sold and used all over the world so the possibilities of our solution can spread to the other markets

With the system launch approaching, we tested the visitor to ticket sale conversion rate by putting a buy button on every route and measuring how many unique visitors click on it. The overwhelmingly positive result was a conversion rate of 47% which is almost 150.000 visitors
