Brief History
The management and volunteers of Balay Samaritano sa Sugbo are committed to provide “A HOME”
where the street children and homeless elderly find support in their daily struggle for survival and in their holistic human development by first
addressing basic human needs.
Mission:
A society free from all kinds of addiction where every child and elderly has a
place called home.
Vision:
oTo value every human being as unique and to instill a sense of time and discipline that will facilitate a better social adjustment
oTo foster the attitude of kindness and understanding in all relationships and to develop a sense of belongingness.
Core Values:
o To help educate towards a sense of person and social responsibility through availability to listen and to give advice whenever needed.
Core Values:
o The center is equipped with bath room, rest room, a kitchen, and a dining area. It also has some rooms for the street children and elderly to develop their social skills as inside the group of co-workers
Facilities:
Free Meals/ Food Packs
Breakfast and lunch for the children and elderly from Monday – Saturday (no sundays)
hot meals for 40 street elderly 70 or more food packs distributed to the
elderly in sidewalks
Mobile Feeding
done twice a week during Wednesdays and Saturdays by the staff of BSS
Programs and Services:
A place where they can do their laundry and take a bath
shampoo, bath soap, laundry soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and etc.
there are more than 25 children and more than 40 elderly.
schedule for the laundry (Monday & Thursday for the elderly while Tuesdday & Fridayfor the childen)

daily rosary (elderly) Bible Faith/ Sharing with the Legion’s Mary
of Group – every Saturday Holy Mass usually officiated by Fr. Jerome
Cayetano, SVD and sponsored bhy his friends

Socio-cultural activities such as games, singing, dancing and sometimes role playing

oGerman Doctor’s addresses the clients medical concerns
o It has coordinated with CCMC for emergency and hospitalization needs
