1. Befriend someone in each class- they may not be in your future wedding, but they may save you from failing a test.
2. Avoid morning classes like it’s the plague.
3. Bring extra safety pins to the toga party.
4. “Freshman 15” is a real disease. Don’t forget to throw some fruit and veggies in your diet, and take a gym class for credit.
5. Enjoy classes outside of your major. They are a surprising breath of fresh air (photography, art or drama classes).
6. You can never take too many pictures - however, that doesn’t
mean you need to post them ALL on social media sites for your future employer to see!
7. Take a lesson from Wedding Crashers- Rule #1: Never leave a fellow crasher behind (especially if they are your drunken friend bowing to the porcelain throne at a frat house).
8. Use www.ratemyprofessors.com before scheduling any classes.
9. The more underwear and socks you have, the less you have to do laundry.
10. If you haven’t picked a major yet, don’t worry, you have time to decide. Unless, you are three years in, and taking basket weaving classes. Then you can start worrying.
