MRF Limited (Madras Rubber Factory limited) is an India-based company engaged in manufacturing, distribution and sale of tyres for various kinds of vehicles.

The company established in 1949.

A young entrepreneur, K. M. Mammen Mappillai, opened a small toy balloon manufacturing unit in a shed at Tiruvottiyur, Madras (now Chennai).

It began the manufacturing of tyres in 1961.
