Die doelwit van die leesprogram is elke leerder te lei na ‘n spontane liefde vir lees, as ‘n meduimwaardeur kennis opgedoen kam word en kommunikasie moontlik gemaak kan word.

Die spoed van die leerder se lees word automasies gemonitor deur die programme.The EDL Table (Educational Development Laboratories)establishers the children's’ reading speed.
