Administrators Desk Happy Fall to Everyone!

We have had some exciting events over the summer. We celebrated our 15 year

anniversary in August. Many, many thanks to our team who did an amazing job

planning, setting up and cleaning up. The Sycamore Hollow Band, BBQ from Tom Ely,

the Pennington Gap Volunteer Fire Department, and a host of community friends,

families, residents, patients and staff made for an amazing day. Mayor Larry Holbrook

presented a plaque recognizing Lee Health and Rehabilitation for 15 years of Service

to the Community .

We held a school supply drive for our employees who have school age children. Every

employee who signed up, was able to receive the needed supplies. This was a huge

success and testimony to the caring and sharing hearts of our staff and families.

The Lee County Fair offered us an opportunity to hand out information packets,

answer questions give away LHRC Koozies, pill reminders, pencils, water and other

freebies. We appreciate all who stopped by our booth with a kind word.

Just a reminder, Flu season is right around the corner, and we encourage everyone to

get their flu vaccine. It is proven to be an effective way to decrease your chance of

getting the flu and suffering any complications.

We are looking forward to the holidays, that are swiftly approaching. We always

welcome families and friends to spend time with their loved ones.

I look forward to seeing you- Tammie
