    New Car Assessment Programs (NCAP) all over the world

    and Governments are targeting to reduce road atalities.

    Both customer demands and government legislation continue

    to improve traffic saety. Electric and Electronic Saety Systems

    play a key role in this trend. Electric power steering is a good

    example o how a saety application perectly unites with

    automotive body systems. The new TriCore™-based AURIX™
