• Energy Management can be broadly defined as the proactive, organized andsystematic management of energy use in a building or organization to satisfy bothenvironmental and economic requirements.

• Energy management mainly includes planning and operation of energy productionand energy consumption units.

• Objectives could be recourses conservation, climate protection and cost savings;while the users have permanent access to the energy they need.

Energy Audit

Energy Audit is a review, as an

investigation of all organization

historical and current energy use with

the objective of identifying and

quantifying areas of energy wastage

within the organization activities.

It is preferably to be carried out by an

Accredited Energy Master Auditor (such

as ISO-50001).

Energy Audit includes inspection, surveyand analysis of energy flows, for energyconservation in a building, process orsystem to reduce the amount of energyinput(s) into the system withoutnegatively affecting the output(s).
