Iedereen praat erover, maar wat is een zelfrijdende auto? Een auto die zelf gas geeft, remt, stuurt en navigeert... En op den duur waarschijnlijk ook communiceert met andere voertuigen en waarschijnlijk met de infrastructuur. Deze slide laat zien dat de transitie al begonnen is: Het stuur wordt overgenomen met lane keeping assistence, een systeem dat je helpt in je baan te blijven; De remmen worden overgenomen met automatic breaking, een systeem dat automatisch remt als er een botsing wordt voorzien Met adaptive cruise control rijdt je auto op een vaste afstand van je voorganger Belangrijk moment nu in de ontwikkelingen is dat we ook echt op het punt staan dat de handen van het stuur gaan en de controle over wordt gegeven aan de auto. ��


Conclusies onderzoek zelfrijdende voertuigen (1) Zorgen over:

– Aansprakelijkheid – Privacy – Verkeersveiligheid – Cybersecurity

‘Showroom auto’s’ kennen al veel rij-ondersteuningsfuncties.

Autofabrikant is aansprakelijk

– de software analyseert, beslist en grijpt in zonder dat de bestuurder dit kan overrulen. De auto is ‘in control’ als deze zelfstandig remt in geval van gevaarlijke verkeerssituatie.

Ontbreken van mondiale ethische waarden – op basis waarvan een zelfrijdende auto beslissingen in het verkeer

neemt.


Conclusies onderzoek zelfrijdende voertuigen (2) Regelgeving om veiligheidssystemen in auto’s gestructureerd te registreren

door o.a.: – RDW – Verzekeraar – Expertise bureau

Europese harmonisatie van: – verzekerde limieten voor WA-verzekering voertuigen – Wet- en regelgeving (controle over het voertuig of paard) – Bestuurder ook verzekerd bij éénzijdige aanrijding!

Zorgplicht als het gaat om informatie over veiligheidssystemen door:

– Autofabrikant / verkopers – Mobiliteitsproviders – Werkgevers (zorgplicht) – Leden- & branche-organisatie – Overheid (fiscale stimulering), CBR


Een seconde onoplettendheid bij 100 km per uur impliceert 28 mtr remweg.
