I want to give you an ALTERNATIVE, which will help them LEARN what they are being taught in school!!! Let your children KNOW, regardless of their age, even if they are in post graduate school, you are ALWAYS going to REQUEST the same thing from them and you want more than a one or two word response. You can also use the same request, a er each religious educa on or Confirma on class! Here is the REQUEST: Your children are to TEACH you EVERYDAY, ONE lesson, that they learned in class that day. It can be in any subject. They need to teach you EVE-RYDAY, something they learned that day, in class!!! At first they will struggle, but stay faithful, soon they will get use to your request. Here is a secret, behind this re-quest: WHEN YOU HAVE TO TEACH ANOTHER WHAT YOU ARE LEARNING, YOU BEGIN TO COMPREHEND MORE OF WHAT YOU ARE BEING TAUGHT. So o en, people ask how they might grow in their faith. The LPMI is a four-year program: an informal year of discernment and three years of formal academic train-ing and spiritual growth. The ini al segment of the pro-gram, the Year of Discernment, consists of eight Satur-day sessions from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The classes meet at Christ the King Parish, located at 821 S. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa. Classes begin on September 9, 2017 and con nue once monthly through April 2018. The LPMI provides educa on and forma on for laity in the Catholic faith. The program is designed to enhance personal faith and develop intellectual ap -tude to enrich personal ministry.

Highschool and Middle School Teens Come join us Wednesday nights

from 6:30pm-7:45pm in the Youth Center. ALL ARE WELCOME!

August 30th will be the first day of orienta-tion for High School students (meet in Youth Center) and Middle School students (meet in Echo Room) Orientation starts at 6:30pm and is for both Parent and Teen.
