Letter from theNational Director

Though I am extremely sad to see our pasttitleholders move on, I am excited to see them

all doing amazing things in life. They havegrown so much over this last couple of years

and become such a bonus in my life. They havedonated their time and efforts towards

countless causes, had amazing trips together, and have truly developed what I believe will

be life long friendships. As I welcome the newtitle holders into the United Miss family, I want

them to know that they have big shoes to fill. I am also excitedbecause I know that this group is very capable of keeping the barhigh. They are all so impressive with such strong connections to

their communities, and coming with awesome platforms that theywill be working with for the year. MS Society, Cancer Society,

Philippine black pencil project, just to name a few. I value youngwomen who consider themselves a constant work in progress.

Building others up while simultaneously adding to who they are.Making the world a better place by volunteering and being

spokespersons for those in need. THIS is what pageantry is about.Ladies, I am thrilled to work with you this year. Congratulations

on your new titles, use them wisely!
