Mr. Priecko leads a 15-year plus career in international trade compliance
MANASSAS PARK, VA, August 15, 2011, John P. Priecko, President and Managing Partner of Trade
Compliance Solutions, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication,
leadership and excellence in business management.
Mr. Priecko has more than 15 years of overall professional export control and trade compliance
experience. His responsibilities at Trade Compliance Solutions include overseeing consultants, lawyers
and other vendors, assisting the trade compliance community, providing cost-effective resources, and
complying with the Export Administration Regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations and other
related U.S. government regulations. He is also an accomplished author of numerous trade compliance
and related articles and a seasoned speaker at a wide range of events who is known for having a unique
and engaging presentation style.
Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Priecko was the Vice President of Global Trade Compliance for
J.P. Morgan Chase & Company, Global Trade Solutions. He is also a retired Air Force Colonel with 25 years
of military service and held various senior positions in the U.S. Department of Defense and United States
Air Force. A distinguished graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, he received the Legion
of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal and Air Force Achievement
Medal, as well as the Combat Readiness Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces
Expeditionary Medal and Humanitarian Service Medal. Additionally, he received the Joint Meritorious Unit
Award, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and Air Force Organizational Excellence Award. Mr. Priecko is
also a recipient of the Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon,
Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and Air Force Training Ribbon.
Mr. Priecko earned a Master of Arts in Aviation Management in 1983 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical
University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 1978 from Ball State University. In 1971, he
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Design both from The University of
Arizona. He is a Life Member of the Air Force Association, and member of the Association of Trade
Compliance Professionals, International Compliance Professionals Association, Society for International
Affairs, and Virginia/Washington DC District Export Council. He is also a Founding Sponsor of the Flight 93
National Memorial.
