Title: Recycle
More and more garbage are thrown by people. Every day, people throw away
more trash. As the world population increases, people throw away more garbage.
Garbage truck come to pick it up. Where do these trash go? The garbage truck bring
all the trash to a landfill. What is a landfill? A landfill is a place where all the trash is
dumped.
How do we cut down on the amount of trash we produce every day? A simple
solution to that is to practise recycling. What is recycling? Recycling means taking
materials from old materials and making other new products from them.
Recycling from garbage takes a lot less money, much less energy, and saves
a lot of the Earth’s natural resources, thereby helping the environment.
How do we recycle? You begin to recycle when you separate recyclable
materials from your trash. The separated materials will be put into three recycle bins
with different colours. Paper trash is put into blue-coloured recycle bin, the orange-
coloured bin is for steel and aluminium and the brown-coloured bin is for glass.
Some towns have their own recycle centre where people can send their garbage to.
What kinds of materials can we recycle? Paper, glass, cardboard, aluminium
cans, steel cans, and other metals can all be recycled. Plastic bottles can also be
recycled to make new products. These products can be used to make playground
equipment, the steel in skyscrapers, bottles that hold food other household products,
and even bottles for drinking water.
