Audi connect Safety & Assistance services will be available on 2017 MY Audi A4, Audi allroad and Audi Q7 built after CW 32 2016.

In order for customers to use Audi connect services, they must create a myAudi account. This account must then be verified by the dealer. More details on this process will be provided at Audi connect training.

In the event of an accident involving the activation of an airbag, the Audi emergency call service automatically creates a voice link with the Audi emergency call centre.

All relevant data such as location, last direction of travel and number of passengers is

transmitted.

The customer can also activate a manual emergency call via the SOS button.

Benefits:

► Automatic transmission of position data in the event of an accident.

► Voice connection to Audi emergency call centre.

► Strict data protection policies.

In the event of a breakdown, the customer presses the Service Call button in the roof

module.

Service and breakdown-related data such as the GPS location of the vehicle are collected

and forwarded to the Audi roadside assistance.

Benefits

► In the event of a breakdown, the customer only has to press the Service Call button

in the roof module to activate the online roadside assistance call.

► Based on the transmitted data, misunderstandings between customers and the

emergency service agents are avoided.

► Conversation times between customers and emergency service agents can be

reduced due to the transmitted data.

► Based on the available data, the quality of the advice provided to the customer in the

event of a breakdown can be improved

The Audi Service Request informs the customer of an upcoming service appointment. The

customer must opt in to this feature. Transmission of all service-relevant information is

sent to the customer’s preferred Audi dealer (14 days before the service interval is

displayed). The service department can then plan the service appointment in advance.

The user will then receive a call or an email to make an appointment.

Benefits:

► Proactive planning of service intervals.

► Supports the reliability of the vehicle.

► Increases the value retention of the vehicle.

The Vehicle Status Report provides various types of information on the status of the

vehicle. Information such as: mileage, doors locked or unlocked, windows open or closed

and fuel level are available to the customer on myAudi or the Audi connect MMI app.

Benefits:

► Current status on the vehicle‘s fuel level as well as remaining range

► Overview on upcoming service intervals

► View warning messages (ex. Low washer fluid).

The Remote Lock & Unlock service provides the customer with information in regards to

the locked/unlocked status of the vehicle. It tracks which pre configured vehicle users

locked or unlocked the vehicle and when.

Locking and unlocking of the vehicle is carried out by the Audi connect MMI app.

Benefits:

► Verify status of the vehicle locking system. Be sure the car is locked or unlocked.

► Overview of the locking/unlocking history.

The Car Finder service clearly displays the vehicles parking position on a map. The

customer sets a PIN code to find their car with security.

Benefits:

► Shows the vehicles last parking position on a map.

► Saves time-consuming searching.

The Stolen Car Locater provides location support in the event the customer‘s Audi is

stolen.

Benefits:

► Call centre support with vehicle location when vehicle is stolen.

► The call centre co-ordinates efforts with law enforcement.

The Geofencing Alert service allows the user to set up prohibited areas for their vehicle,

which can be time or day based. If the vehicle enters or leaves a defined area, the

customer receives a warning message via email or text message, without the recognition

of the driver.

There can be up to ten zones (Geofences) set in myAudi. A maximum of four zones can set

for the vehicle when in use.

Benefits:

► Simple setup and managing of Geofences.

► Effective controlling of the set up areas.

► Warnings via email or text message.

The Speed Alert service allows the customer to supervise the speed of the vehicle and

receive feedback in case of transgression via email or text message. There can be up to

five speed limits saved in myAudi. A maximum of two speed limits can be set for the

vehicle when in use.

Benefits:

► Simple setup and managing of speed limits.

► Management of others driving too fast.

► Warning via email or text messages.

The Valet Alert service uses the Geofence and Speed Alert services to provide the

customer with warnings (via email or text message) in case their vehicles leaves/enters a

defined area and/or transgression of set speed limits.

The Valets settings are activated and managed with the Audi connect MMI app.

Benefits:

► Simple setup and managing of valets with the Audi connect MMI app.

► Effective control of a valet parking service.

► Warning via email or text messages.
