You and a friend will spend the day behind the scenes with the AE Replay XD/Nissan GT Academy Racing Team. Shadow the race team owners and participate in driver’s meet-ings closed to the public, attend networking meetings (with the likes of Michael Andretti and others), work with the drivers and engineers in the paddock to see how the race set up occurs, and best of all, you will be in the pits (on the radio listening to drivers, team managers, and spotters) during the racing event. 16. sHoW oF tHe elite! sFpd cHieF For a day!The day will begin at San Francisco Police new headquarters on 1251 3rd Street with your party of 4. Meet & greet with the SFPD, Chief of Police Greg Suhr, in his office. During your briefing with the Chief of Police, he will present you with your gear, take some group photos, and give you your assignment for the day. Immediately following, you will be whisked off in a police car to the Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) headquarters, where you will be treated to an insider tour of weapons, equipment, tactics, bomb squad, etc. Meet members of the K9 team in action. While at SWAT headquarters, you will be able to tour the SFPD command van and check out their cool motorcycles. You will then travel across the city to the SFPD horse stables at Golden Gate Park (bring some carrots with you). Following, you will have lunch with the Chief of Police at the world famous MoMo’s Restaurant adjacent to the home of the world champion San Francisco Giants. After lunch you will respond to the marine unit and spend the afternoon on patrol along the waterfront. Returning to the Hall of Justice (totally exhausted!) with memories of a lifetime!

After lunch with your “co-director”, you will return to your classroom and delight your classmates with stories of what it’s like to “Rule the School”.

Dessert Auctiona sWeet Way to end your dinner Each person/couple at your table can chip in an amount for your tables’ dessert bid. The table with the highest total wins first choice from the dessert table. The next highest wins second choice, and so on. Competition will be fierce for the most desirable dessert so get your entire table to rally together. To make it extra sweet, the highest individual contributor will also receive an assortment of dessert wines and champagne to share with their table.

All items are sold “as is.” All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds are possible.

However, all items are sold “as is” and Lycée Français de San Francisco is not responsible for the correct description, authenticity or description of any lot. No statement contained in the catalog or made verbally is deemed to be a warranty or an assumption of liability.

The Lycée Français de San Francisco has made no independent investigation of the value or quality of any of the professional services or tangible items offered as auction items.

The monetary values of the auction items are estimates only and are not warranted for tax purposes or general value. Items may be listed as “Priceless” due to the exclusivity of the item but may have a fair market value. The payment of an auction item in excess of fair market value may provide the purchaser an income tax deduction. If you make any purchases, you will receive a receipt. On the receipt, we will list the item’s fair market value, the amount paid for the item and the difference, if the amount paid exceeds the fair market value. Please contact your tax advisor for further tax information.

Dates for services, trips, private dinners, etc. are to be arranged between the purchaser and the auction donor. The buyer is responsible for initiating contact with the donor a minimum of 60 days before the expiration date to arrange mutually agreeable times. Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be used by March 26, 2017. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. Successful bidders are advised that all activities, services and products are not sponsored by the Lycée Français de San Francisco. The Lycée Français de San Francisco accepts no liability or responsibility for any activities, services or products purchased at the auction, including, but not limited to, failure of delivery, failure of performance and/or claims of personal injury or property damage.

Donated Properties: When a winning bidder purchases the use of a donor’s property, the winning bidder/purchaser is responsible for any property damages caused by or resulting from the purchaser’s or the purchaser’s guests’ or invitees’ use of the property. Unless otherwise specified, transportation to and from a donated property is not included; no smoking is permitted; no pets allowed; winner is responsible for toll and long distance telephone calls; winner is responsible for cleanup and leaving accommodations in same conditions as found.
