Thank you for your request for information submitted under the Local Government Official

Information and Meetings Act 1987. Your request was received by Auckland Transport on

the 25th of June 2014

You have requested all material provided to or by the Mayor and/or Councillors showing the

level of public support for the planned central City Rail Link (CRL). In particular, you have

requested results of all opinion polls carried out which indicate the levels of support for the

CRL and the methodology under which these polls were conducted.

Auckland Transport declines your request under Section 17(e) of the LGOIMA as the

documents alleged to contain the requested information do not exist.

We trust this information has clarified this matter however you have the right in accordance

with section 27(3) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987

(LGOIMA) to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman if you are not satisfied with

our response.
