This installation, titled Terra by artist Orly Genger, is inspired by the landscape of Campbell Park—its design and foliage—as well as the characteristic soil of the Oklahoma City region, known for its luscious terra-cotta hue. In her work, Genger uses long lengths of rope tied by hand to create large-scale sculptures enjoyed in accessible public spaces. Employing textile and fiber, rather than stone or metal, the artist expands traditional outdoor sculpture techniques. As a result, the park is transformed into an inviting complex of shapes and color to explore and experience. No admission fee. Park is open to the public 365 days a year.
