1986: School founded as the “North Peninsula Jewish Day School,” serving twenty-one children in K–2nd grade

1989: School grows in size to sixty children

1998: Mervyn Danker became Head of School

30th birthday

2015: Created dual language Hebrew program – Shalom

Ivrit – to ensure 8th graders graduate with high Hebrew

language proficiency

2002: First 8th grade class graduated and went on to attend

schools such as UC Berkeley, Pitzer, American, Dartmouth, and Stanford

2016: Cemented our future with an $8 million purchase of 12 acres of land previously leased in partnership with the PJCC

1999: Middle School opened 2016: 7th grade received the Youth in

Philanthropy Award from Silicon Valley Association of Fundraising Professionals for their Tzedakah Project

2016: Wornick grows to two hundred students
