CRTTERIA FOR SAFETY TOURISM AGAINST COVID.l9 OUTBREAK(Issued in accordance to Decision l0/2020/ QD-HHDLW dated February 20th, 2020)

1. Safe tourism destination against Covid-l9 outbreak: Safe tourismdestinations are historical, cultural, scenic sites, tourist destinations and touristattractions that are fully met the following criteria:

- Tourism destinations are not in areas affected by Covid- 19 outbreakwhich have been determined by relevant authorities under Law on Preventionand Control of Infectious Diseases (2017).

- In the case, a tourist destination provides at least one of the followingservices, it must fully meet the criteria prescribed.

2. Safe tourism enterprises against Covid-l9 epidemic: Tourism enterprisesmust implement the following safety criteria for Covid-l9 outbreak:

- Sign contracts to domestic and foreign individuals and organizationsprovided that tourists are not subject to medical isolation as stipulated in SectionIIII, Decision 3441QE-BYT and Section 3, Decision 345IQD-BYT; datedFebruary ,7'n, 2020 issued by Minister of Health.

- Only take tourists to safe tourist destinations according to the criteria inabove article 01 .

- If one or more services are provided (in section 3,4,5) at a safe touristdestination against Covid- 19 outbreak, the specific criteria specified in these

sections shall be complied with.- Actively coordinate with competent health sector authorities to organize

training and issue certificates of participation in Covid-19 oiitbreak to drivers,tour guides, and waiters on tourist transportation.

- Publish a list of sqfe tourist destinations on the own website by enterprisesand Vietnam Tourism Association website for information to tourists.

3. Safe tourist accommodation establishments and entertainment servicesagainst Covid-l9: Tourist accommodation establishment and entertainmentservices in safe tourist destination against Covid- 1'9 outbreak must ensure thefollowing criteria: "

- To prevent and control Covid- 19 outbreak as slipulated in Sub section 01 ,

Section VII, Decision 3441QD-BYT, dated February 7'h, 2020 issued byMinister of Health.

- Managers, employees and staffs must apply personal protective measures

- Waste and waste generated in service area are collected, transported andtreated in accordance with Sub-section 05 and 06, Section VII, Decision344l D-BYT, dated February, o7'n,2020 issued by Minster of Health.

- To ariange places for hand washirg, soap, disinfectant solution in sanitaryareas; dining place; kitchen of establishment as guided at Sub section 03,Section VII, Decision 344/QD-BYT, dated February 7*n, 2020 issued byMinister of Health.

- To clari$r telephone numbers of relevant medical authorities in local areain the prevention and control of Covid-19 outbreak in the case of necessary.

4. Safe food, drink and goods services against Covid-l9: Food, drink andgoods provider services in safe tourism destinations against Covid- 19 mustensure the following criteria:

- To carry out the prevention and control of Covid- 1 9 outbreak as guided atPoint 01, Section VII, Decision 344|QE-BYT, dated February , 07h, 2O2O issuedby Minister of Health.

- Managers, employees, and staffs must apply personal protective measuresas recommended by Ministry of Health.

- Wastes generated from service providers are collected, transported andhandled according to instructions at Subsection 05 and 06, Section VII, Decision344|QD-BYT, dated February 7n,2020 issued by Minister of Health.

- To affange places for hand washirg, soap, disinfectant solution in sanitary

5. Safe transport services companies against bovid-19 tiutbreak:Transportation services companies against Covid- 19 outbreak must meet thefollowing criteria: u'*

- To implement sterilization method on transportation means for touristsunder guidance at Subsection 07, Section VII, Decision 3441QD-BYT, datedFebruary 7th,2020 issued by Minister of Health.

- Drivers, tour guides and staff in tourist tiansportation means shallapply personal protective measures as recommended by Ministry of Health.

- To affange enough masks and antiseptic solutions in the means oftransportation for tourists when they need.

- To clari0, telephone numbers of relevant medibal authorities in local areain the prevention and control of Covid- 19 outbreak in the case of emergency.
