Tight Contact Press

We have developed the most advanced and robust pressing method for part assembly.

The method significantly reduces equipment break down which in turn decreases

production down time significantly while improving part quality.

Load Pressure – Conventional Pressing Method (Not Recommended)

1. Force is applied when the press is not aligned properly with a part.

→ There is no way to make sure that the part is loaded properly

→ This can damage the part or the press; causing defects and

decreasing the life of the equipment.

2. Load tolerance detection is not precise

→ Force is applied without detection, creating a higher chance of

damaging the parts

→ As long as the tolerance level is within +/-0.15, the inspection

system will not identify a defect when it is created.

3. As the press is applying a significant amount of force, it can quickly

generate large amounts of scrap.

Pressure required is between 500 - 700 KGF; however, 1,500 KGF is used.

Adhering Pressure – Our Pressing Method (Recommended)

1. Detects initial and final press position.

2. Final position’s load pressure is lower.

→ Increases the durability of the equipment

→ Prevents deformation of the material

3. Controlled press force that can detect when the press cycle is not

completed which is typically very difficult to determine.

4. Right amount of pressure is used for the OD tolerance and the ID

tolerance.

5. Detects defects from destruction of the tooling or from friction.

6. Detects defects in the parts or the inserting material.

Our Servo press & Nutrunner are designed for convenient multi-function systems. It will

provide you the most simple system connection without I/O hard wiring. By simply

connecting I/O to the master unit, it can be easily connected to the several slaves without

any further electrical wiring works.

3-Dimensional Compensation

Centering Unit

Our Centering Unit can compensate in all directions (X,Y,Z,α,β,γ) in order to press to the

exact position compared to other centering units which have limited compensation

functions.

Depending on the equipment, a Loadcell can be placed on the top or the bottom to

maximize the function of the equipment.

Centering Unit

Conventional Pressing Method

When spindle center and the material are not in alignment,

destruction of jig & fixture or the material can be caused. Also,

the material does not get placed properly, as the final pressed

position is not in the correct location.

Material and the center of spindle are not in alignment.

Centering Unit applied Pressing Method

Centering unit is moving automatically to adjust the

location and the angle of the spindle. That way, the

press force is centered with the material, and the

equipment does not get damaged as the press applies

force and completes its cycle.

Centering Unit

Center of spindle and the material are aligning. (Loadcell installed at upper position)

→ Lines do not have waves; lines are smoother. (Defects are easily detected.)

Center of spindle and the material are not aligning. (Loadcell installed at lower position)

→ Lines have waves on the graph. (It is impossible to detect defects.)

Press jig or the inserted material is jostling to make it to the right location. There’s no waves in the line. Load

pressure is lower as well.
