cars to be made faster so they wouldn’t cost that much.

• To make the cars faster Henry Ford put the cars on a conveyor belt.

• The workers added parts on each side while the cars were moving along the assembly line.

• In 1863 Ford was born on a farm near Dearborn, Michigan on July 30.

• In 1903 Henry Ford started the Ford Motor Company.

• In 1888 Henry Ford married Clara Bryant.

If There Were No Assembly Lines…

• It would still take 12 hours to make one car.

• The cars would be more expensive.
