COLLABORATION

The collaboration between

Dom Pérignon and Lenny Kravitz is all

about inspiring, and being inspired.

Dom Pérignon has always sought out

iconic personalities. By discovering their

universe and their vision, the storied

champagne House continually reinvents

its own heritage.

Lenny Kravitz has a long relationship

with Dom Pérignon: close to the House

and its Chef de Cave Richard Geoffroy,

he is a true connoisseur and fan of its

Vintages. This collaboration springs

from authentic affinity and mutual

respect. Lenny Kravitz’s love for creativity

in every form has led him to transcend

the frontiers of disciplines as he explores

music and design, cinema and

photography.

As Creative Director and Photographer

of Dom Pérignon, he was given complete

freedom for this artistic project.

He invited a group of exceptional talents

to the villa he designed in Los Angeles,

capturing intense moments and reviving

the concept of a circle by bringing

together singular personalities.

A multicultural and multigenerational

icon, Lenny Kravitz's power of

attraction is unique, forming groups

where visions clash, and movements

spontaneously emerge.

He initiated this moment, creating a

volatile assemblage that combines

different people, worlds, disciplines

and generations, providing

opportunities to meet and share, to

enjoy and create.

Dom Pérignon spiral of creation.

Here, Lenny Kravitz creates the

connections while Dom Pérignon acts as

Lenny Kravitz, she is a multi-talented

artist, both a singer and actress. During

the shoot, she imparts a spirit that draws

everyone in her direction. Around her,

she brings together youthful, disruptive

and conquering talents, avant-garde

trendsetters in fashion, music and

cinema.

SUSAN SARANDONis a woman of extraordinary compassion.

The Oscar-winning actress has inhabited

roles that have become touchstones for

every generation. As an activist and UN

ambassador, she lends her voice to just

causes, leveraging her celebrity to change

the world. Her laugh and radiance make

her a magnetic presence.

ABBEY LEE is an ethereal beauty with a truly

contemporary essence. A fashion model,

she successfully conquered the world

of cinema with her distinctive sense

of performance, welcoming complex,

powerful roles. She joins Zoë Kravitz’s

circle for this memorable moment, her

intense sense of friendship and festive

elegance radiating through the group.

HARVEY KEITEL embodies the aura of cinema. His roles

in films by both renowned directors and

international indie auteurs all express

an intense charisma, marked by the

unmistakable impact of his voice. He can

become any character, totally inhabited,

memorably iconic. He is a genius at

tapping into the talent of others, sharing

and bringing their vision to life. He is

the gaze that never wavers, a natural

authority and a leader.

For his “assemblage”, Lenny Kravitz brought together truly singular personalities:

BENJAMIN MILLEPIED embodies the contemporary spirit of

dance. A choreographer whose work is

performed on stages around the world,

as well as for movies. Founder of the

LA Dance Project, he eclipses traditions,

inventing the dance of tomorrow,

bringing fresh meaning to movement.

He is absolutely transcendent

in the moment.

HIDETOSHI NAKATAis a football legend who exerts the

influence of one of the greatest players

of all time, heightened by his impact as

a remarkable philanthropist. Following

his passion, he uses his talent as the

cornerstone of his commitments.

Faithful to ideas that reach beyond

sports, his victories on the field are now

joined by victories of the heart. He is the

icon and competitor, the truly

amazing man.

ALEXANDER WANGis a fashion prodigy. An adored designer,

he dresses stars with his chic, urban and

sexy clothes that exude an exquisitely

controlled nonchalance. He gracefully

brings his irresistible spirit to the

festivities.

The photographs taken by Lenny Kravitz

constitute a living memory of this

ephemeral and intense assemblage.

The photos were shot in the moment

with his Leica camera, with a sharp

contrast and framing that capture the

strong, unique personality of each artist.

The photographs will be unveiled

worldwide as part of an exhibition, as

well as an international advertising

campaign.

The exhibition is a recreation and

transcription of a memorable, inspiring

evening that the public did not have a

chance to experience.

Several material witnesses of the

moment will enable to identify with the

unique spirit of that gathering. The exhibition will be inaugurated in

New York in September 2018 during

an exclusive evening event attended by

Lenny Kravitz and his assemblage.

It will then be open to the public from

September 29 to October 6, 2018.

Located in the Chelsea gallery district,

the Skylight Modern venue possesses a

distinct New York edge.

In 2019, the exhibition will travel

worldwide to emblematic venues that

reprise this uncommon alchemy.

The exhibition is produced by

Renaud Sabari and the Arter agency.

Assemblage is Lenny Kravitz’s second

photography exhibition after Flash in

2015. The latter captures the essence of

what it’s like to be a rock star who is

constantly in the public eye.

“It‘s interesting that the very people

who chase me to take my photographs

have become the subjects of my first

photo exhibition and book. Through

turning the lens back on them, I have

indirectly taken a deeper look at myself

and the surreal world that I live in when

on the road. What once was intrusive

has now become a beautiful moment

of a dance between the hunter

and its prey.”
