Do a research on the facts related to poverty of a developed and developing country.

Prepare a fact-file on the following data:- (6 pages, A4 size coloured sheets )

a) The annual income of the people.

b) Reasons of poverty

Take interviews of five people around you whom you think are deprived of basic amenities

like clean drinking water, electricity, education health care facilities, shelter etc. Compile

it with their names, occupation and annual incomes. Click their picture & present with their

names, occupations and monthly income.

Activity No : III RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION [ROLLNO. 11-15]

Prepare a fact file on different ways of food wastage in India.

Write the names of the different schemes taken up by the government to provide

food to the poor like mid-day meal in government schools. How they are helpful to

the society?

Mention the NGOs which are working to provide the food to the needy ones. NGOs

collect the waste food from marriages and parties.

i. Prepare a Canvas hoarding to sensitize the people living in your vicinity regarding

ii. Compose a mail to sensitize people about the consumption of water, fuel and

electricity. Write do’s and don’ts. Mail it to 10 people and your respective teachers

“Food is meant for sharing not for wasting”

Recycle your leftover food and prepare a delicious and nutritious dish. Name the dish, do

plating and enjoy with your family members. Click photographs and mention the comments

and likes.

on Nutritious Food find out what all extra nutritious things you can/will have of your

Prepare a diet chart for the students of age 10-12 years. Also recommend the food item

which can give the required nutrients (Mention the nutrients in each food group along with

it's unit) Conclude the chart with a small pledge to follow the diet plan to keep yourself

healthy.
