Addressing about 200 young college students from various streams like Engineering, Medicine, Law and Management at the inaugural function of Youth Camp ‘SHRADDHA’ held at Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad today (June 26, 2015), MD, HMR Mr.NVS Reddy emphasized on the need for purity of thought and action. Quoting from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda he said that youth are the torch bearers of the Nation and hence should develop strong character and passion to serve humanity. He also said that Swamiji is a perfect example of a human being who successfully transformed thoughts into action, radiating positivity throughout.

MD, HMR said that he drew inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and with this inspiration he is steering the Hyderabad Metro Rail project as a model project about which Indians will be proud of.

Mr. Reddy urged the younger generation to be abreast with latest technology and management practices since this would help them think differently and use technology for the benefit of society. He appealed to them to refrain from negative thoughts and actions. He added that we should be grateful to have got an opportunity to live the life of a human being and therefore utilise this opportunity to uphold human values to alleviate the lives of fellow beings and bring pride to the country.
