Dion Channer has been using handmade paper as a creative media since 1978 in both Italy and Australia. He will show you some traditional and non-traditional ways of using this in his paper mill in Glenwood.

Kerrie Atkins will give you some skills to paint and draw in a realistic way in her studio at Downsfield north east of Gympie.

Sally Spencer’s studio is located in Gympie. She is interested in ancient cultures and will encourage you to make raku fired sculpture and ink drawings.

Kathy Burden will guide you to achieve three pieces of artwork in different styles and mediums in her Gympie studio.

Frankie Barloc will teach you how to make hand forged and lost wax cast jewellery in her Gympie workshop.

Nicole Harper’s studio is in Gympie and she will give you some tips on capturing the emotions and feeling of landscape in paint and mixed media.

Prue Sheehan

Prue Sheehan will show you some ceramic techniques to help you discover how to express yourself with clay in her Gympie studio.

Julia Kitto loves capturing the beauty of nature and will encourage you to use natural raw plant fibre to create sculpture using traditional basketry techniques in her Glenwood studio.
