ARTIST STYLING AND COSTUME PLANNING

MAKE-UP

The characters in my music video would be wearing natural make-up, thus my demographic are teenagers aged 12 – 18 years old. Although, it’s natural make-up my characters would need to look fresh faced and attractive in order to be more appealing to viewers. There needs to be a happy medium, thus if the characters are too natural they would look tired and look as if they have made no effort with their appearance. Also, the natural make-up would bring the viewers’ attention to the narrative of the music video rather than the character’s appearance.

COSTUME

I would like the characters in my music video to bring out their individual identities by wearing their own taste of clothing as they are all different, making the demographic relate to at least one character in my music video. However, I do want them to wear generic items that have teenage conventions, to make it more relatable to the teenaged target audience e.g. a character wearing converse.

Since it’s autumn, my characters would be wearing wintery clothes.
