Most Seattle Public Library branches have rooms that can be reserved for activities meeting the Branch Library Meeting Room Use Guidelines. Room reservations are made online using Spaces.
This brief tutorial will show you how to: Create a Spaces account Reserve a room using Spaces View, edit, and cancel reservations

First, you need to create an account.

2.2 Enter your information
Notes:
Type your first name, last name, email address, password, and location you will use most often.
(Talk to a Library staff member if you do not have an email address)

4.1 Type your email address

Now you can log in to your account with your email address and the password you chose

5. Reserve Room
5.1 Click Request Space
Notes:
Now you can request a room. From the My Account screen, click Request Space

Choose the date and time you want, then click Search for Space

By default, you will see all the rooms available at the time you requested. You can choose to just look at some branches by unselecting Select All and selecting the branches you want.

6.1 Click login

You can also review, edit, and cancel reservations in Spaces. First, log back in

In the My Account screen, you can see the status of your reservation request and see the information you submitted

7. Edit Reservation
7.1 Click Edit In Pending Reservations Screen
Notes:
If you need to change your reservation, click Edit so you can make your changes. After you submit changes, you will receive an automatic email confirming that your change request was received and a second email when your change is approved

8. Cancel Reservation
8.1 Click Cancel
Notes:
From the My Account Screen you can also cancel a reservation. To do so, click Cancel, then Yes to confirm
