Evan Hecox is a Colorado-based artist and designer whose work portrays the essence of urban environments. His works depict city scenes or isolated elements that are almost cinematic in their stark contrast and abstraction. Hecox is fascinated with the complexity of the urban landscape and people from the mundane surroundings that one would normally overlook. Like snapshots or filmstrips, his art captures the everyday existence of the average person as they traverse the detritus of the modern me-tropolis. His stylistic approach is based on the process of amplification as it affects form and color, breaking down the image, removing ele-ments and emphasizing others. In the past, his works have been relatively small in scale and create a very intimate experience with the viewer. Hecox has exhibited worldwide, includ-ing exhibitions in Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo.

An underground star in his hometown of Amsterdam, where fans scour the streets to tear down his posters, Parra's work is treasured by a new generation of design fanatics.A natural self taught Typographer and Graphic Artist, Parra grew up living with his artist father. Surrounded by colour, oil paint, wood, & Rubenesque paintings he immersed himself in early nineties music and street culture, developing the unique style he's know for today.Taking a handfull of selected commercial design jobs every year Parra prefers to make the bulk of his output flyers, posters & identities for friends & admirers, making his work available for everyone to use, keep or discard as they wish. His first solo gallery show, "Jobs I did for friends for under £100" took place at London's Kemistry Gallery in March 2005 and sold out in three days. Hugely prolific, Parra also designs his own streetwear label, Rockwell clothing, launched in 2000 and stocked in London, Tokyo, Berlin and New York.

Influenced by his hood's stories and legends, Pablo Gonzalez’s work evolves in a world of villains. In the winter of 1982, at the height of his eleventh year, Sozyone forges an old Belgian bank note. Two days of meticulous hard work that eventually helps his brother buy a pack of Luckies at the local deli. Thinking he’d quickly earn a rep’ as a forger, Pablo decides to study Art, which he achieves with the help of his brother.

He starts at St Luc in 1988 where he meets Smimooz Exel, they decide to launch a band called De Puta Madre. Expelled from St Luc, they’ll end up at Brussels school of Fine Arts from 1990 till 1996. Setting aside the joys of forgery, Pablo discovers the aesthetic vandalism of metropolitan graffiti and officially becomes Sozyone with his crew R.A.B. At a time when Hip Hop was authentic and ‘fresh’, they produce seven albums, sev-eral hundred graffitis and play at numerous jams and shows.

In 1996, Sozyone creates the Ultra Boys International with Gold Jaba, Prince Pro, Turs, Byz and Kool Recto. The crew develops a new form of Graffiti, a brutally refined mix of Marvel Comics, abstract futuristic math-ematics, alphabetical constructivism and facial Picas-sonic cubism: Pure graffiti vanguard, that dismisses any other form of graffiti that are considered as futile.

In 2004, Sozyone officially becomes Sozyone Gonzalez, showing his art that is sought-after by certain purists. He now does authenticity certificates for all of his paintings, sculptures, illustrations and engravings... Maybe a way for him to remember his favorite childhood occupation that required a pair of white latex gloves and a great deal of craftsmanship. Tokyo, Berlin and New York.
