    Well, here we are with Issue #2 of ArmouredFury. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone forthe great feedback that was received for the firstissue. It is greatly appreciated and veryencouraging. Here at Tanks and Things wehave some great ideas for future issues of themagazine. As always, we are looking for anyideas, suggestions, and contributions from youthe members to make this monthly magazineeven better.

    So, what is in this issue? Well, as Jenny hasalready pointed out, we have our first Modeller

    of the Month. We also have a two page spreadof Awesome Outcomes covering both armour,figures and even an aircraft (also known as awingy thingy here on Tanks & Things).

    We also have a special Work in Progress foreveryone here. This month we will focus entirelyon a very special and unique build of an Me-410.Yes another wingy thingy!

    As usual we have some selected new itemsavailable for you all to spend your hard earnedcash on from manufacturers around the world.

    One of the most difficult parts of this job isdeciding what model kits to show in each issue.There are so many great models on display onTanks and Things that I would really like toinclude each and every one. Unfortunately, Ithink that would make each issue much toolong. To help decide what pictures to include Itend to use one basic principle - Is it a goodphotograph? It is easier to include a great

    photograph of a good model,than an average photograph ofa great model. With that inmind, here is some basic adviceon photographing your modelkits -

    1. Try and use a consistentbackground colour. Use somecoloured card which is availablefrom newsagents or art stores;

    2. Ensure you include the entire model in onephotograph. There is nothing worse than bitscut off - unless you are zooming in to highlight a

    section;

    3. Try to avoid using your cameras flash. Theflash generates a harsh light that washes out thecolours;

    4. Dont photograph your pride and joy on yourworkbench. There is nothing worse than a greatmodel with a whole lot of junk behind it.

    In a future issue, we hope to get an expertmodel photographer to provide a full article onphotographing your model kits.

    Until next time readers, have fun and keepmodelling.... Oh and dont forget to check outJennys Tilly which will be published in a futureissue of Tamiya Modelling MagazineInternational.

    Find out how to make flexible tracks out ofDragons Magic Tracks with this great tipfrom Cheyenne.

    Instead of using model cement to join thosepesky Magic tracks, give some rubbercement (available from hardware and craftstores) a go. You can then build flexibletracks the easy way.

    The build belongs to T&Ts artist laureate MrCharles Wojtkiewkz (known as chukw on theforums).
