You’ll engage with people who know your challenges and can help you find solutions. The opportunities available at this meeting will help you meet not only your needs as a physician but also the needs of the patients you serve.

I look forward to seeing you in Tempe!

Sincerely,

Robert M. Aaronson, MD, FACPACP Governor, Arizona Chapter

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the American College of Physicians Arizona Chapter Planning Committee,I would like to welcome you to this year's ACP - Arizona Annual Chapter meeting. Weare in the midst of massive health care system overhauls. As a result, the PlanningCommittee voted to make the theme of our conference "Revolutionizing InternalMedicine with Digital Health".

Now more than ever, new digital tools are being developed with the promise to helpimprove our care coordination, patient visits, efficiency, and quality of care. However, do these actually improve outcomes? This is a major question that needs to be proven before the physiciancommunity adopts these new digital tools. I am excited to report you will see outcome-related work at our conference.

With all this "digitalization", our committee felt it was appropriate to also include humanism as a topicas well. At the end of the day, no matter how care is delivered, there is another fellow human in needof care. This basic aspect of health care delivery cannot be forgotten.

These exciting topics along with the usual grand poster sessions, Doctor’s Dilemma™ competition, andthe Governor's Dinner will make for one of the most exciting chapter meetings in recent years!

See you in Tempe!

Hamed Abbaszadegan, MD, FACP2016 Program Chair
