The Pearl - Qatar, a Riviera style man-made island developed in an exclusive environment in Doha. It is the Middle East's most glamorous address, covering 400 hectares of reclaimed land and Qatar's first international urban development venture.

Katara Cultural Village is the largest and the most multi-dimensional cultural

project of Qatar. It is a place where people come together to experience the

cultures of the world. With beautiful theatres, concert halls, exhibition galleries

and cutting-edge facilities, Katara aims to become a world leader for multi-cultural

activities.

Drive by West Bay, a newly developed neighborhood and one of the most prominent districts of Doha. West Bay includes many modern buildings unlike other, older districts of Doha. Some of the tallest skyscrapers in Qatar are found in this area.

Al Corniche - a 7km long, palm-fringed promenade and dual carriageway extends

in a horseshoe shape around Doha Bay and the city's sea-front. It is lined with

hotels, government buildings; lovely open, manicured parks with family facilities

and public buildings such as museums and a library. People love to stroll along

the corniche, taking in the twinkling sights of the city and the Arabian Gulf.

Museum of the Islamic Art - an imposing building set on an artificial island off Doha's Corniche. The museum is dedicated to reflecting the full vitality, complexity and diversity of the arts of the Islamic world. It is a world-class collecting institution, which preserves, studies and exhibits masterpieces spanning 3 continents and 13 centuries. The building itself was designed by Architect I. M. Pei, designer of the Louvre in Paris. Souq Waqif is one of the most popular attractions in Doha. It houses a huge range of shops and is famous for its dried herbs and spices and incense that looks like rocks. You will also find jewellery, tailoring, embroidery and traditional Arabic clothing shops. Old-style swords, daggers and other various goods are also on display.

Doha City Tour Extension

Dhow Port - The dhow is a traditional Arab sailing vessel with one or more lateen

sails. They are primarily used along the coasts of the Arabian Peninsula, Pakistan,

India, and East Africa.

Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club - With state-of-the-art facilities, the Racing and

Equestrian Club is one of the most enviable horse training centres in the world.

Racing events take place every Thursday from October to May with over 40 race

meetings held annually there is a sand track and a turf.

Fishing Trip We are offering morning and afternoon fishing. For 4 hours, our captain can teach you the basics of fishing and let you enjoy the rest of the hours getting as many fishes as you want. We will be providing all the fishing materials and drink. By the time you dock back to Dhow Port, you will have nothing on your mind but how you will cook the fishes.

Tour The 18th century beauty of the West Coast has unveiled!

Zekreet Fort is a historical landmark where you can find

the astounding scenery among the dunes. The remarkable

umbrella-shaped rock is one of the favorite subjects of

photography. Visiting the Zekreet Peninsula is really an

extraordinary adventure where you can find limestone

rocks and the famous wildlife reserve. Also incldes visit to Richard Serra Sculpture. Enjoy the tour as`you

explore the west coast of Qatar.

Shahaniya. Guests will also see the Sheikh Faisal

Al Zubara Fort/ Museum On the North-Western part of Qatar, is this little fort built on the ruins of an ancient fort, amidst the vast desert. It’s an ancient fort turned into a museum now. This fort was originally built as a coast guard station. It was then rebuilt to what it looks like now through the aid of specialists with archeological and antiquity expertise

Al Ruwais - A village of Qatar, the nearest to the top of the promontory, about 2 1/2 miles south of Ras Rakkan. It is inhabited by about 70 families of the Sadah tribe who own 18 pearl boats, 2 other sea-going vessels and 10 fishing boats; they also have 4 horses and 20 camels. There is a reef in front of the village within which the boats belonging to it anchor. The place is protected by a small fort with four towers, and drinking water is fetched from the Umm Dha'an well, 1 1/2 miles inland south of Ruwais

Al Khor (also spelled Al Khawr) means "sea on three sides" in Arabic. Older than Doha but far smaller in size. Al Khor is located an easy 50 kilometres from the capital city, to the north of Doha. This former pearl fishing centre is currently under renovation – beautifully manicured flower beds greet you as you drive in from the desert.
