• Improved performance at low flow rates. The use of holes through the piston creates leak passages for both chemical and water. Being able to successfully use a water-driven pump at low flow rates successfully is needed when flocks are new.

Hydro Systems’ AquaBlend injector is specifically engineered to accurately treat water with chemicals and wettable powders in a variety of different environments and applications.

• Specifically engineered spring rails on AquaBlend improve performance at low flow rates and improves spring life. The spring rails reduce friction and wear on the springs resulting in longer life before the need for repair.

Springs sit directly on rails (metal-on-metal contact)

• The AquaBlend spring is retained by the bushing. If breakage does occur, it will not fall off and go into the water line. In the case of the competition, if the spring breaks, debris may fall into the water line passing to animals.

• The AquaBlend poppet arm is guided and the competitor design does not feature a guided poppet arm. By guiding the poppet arm, it means less wear on motor piston seals resulting in increased product life and better performance at low flow rates.

Easy, Tool-Free Maintenance

• To perform maintenance on the lower end, tools are not needed for disassembly. Also, the use of a locking nut on the adjustable design allows for quicker maintenance and less downtime for AquaBlend.

• When shaft maintenance is required, the AquaBlend plunger shaft can be removed with a ¼ turn. The competitor shaft cannot be removed and the entire motor piston and shaft assembly needs to be replaced even if damage is only on the shaft.

Modularity = Cost Savings

• On AquaBlend, one can change from a 1:100 unit to a 1:128 unit by only buying a conversion kit rather than purchasing an entirely new unit.

• The lid of the AquaBlend can be removed with a readily available socket wrench or set of pliers while the unit is still mounted on the wall.
