The Wedding Fair in London

The Wedding Fair 2016 at Excel Exhibition is the eventual day out for brides in London to plan

perfect dream wedding. Europe's well known bridal wear exhibitors will gather under one roof

Queen’s Birthday

Venue: Hyde Park, London W2 2UH

Date: Thursday 21st April 2016

The Queen celebrates her 90th birthday in 2016 and there's a big celebration at Windsor Castle

from 12th-15th May to mark the occasion with over 500 horses performing in front of an

audience of 25,000. However, 21st April is The Queen's actual birthday, which she celebrates

privately, but the occasion is also marked publicly by gun salutes in central London.

The 41-gun Queen's Birthday Gun Salute in Hyde Park takes place at midday, there's a 21-gun

salute in Windsor Great Park and a 62-gun salute at the Tower Of London. It's a spectacular

show of pomp and ceremony and it's also the only time when you will see horses legally at a full

gallop in a Royal Park - with a ton and a half of cannon in tow.

Funny Girl:

Venue: Savoy theatre, Savoy Court, Strand, London WC2R 0ET

Date: 9th April to 8th October 2016

Sheridan Smith makes her much anticipated West End return in Funny Girl, which will transfer

from the Menier Chocolate Factory to the Savoy Theatre from the 9th April 2016.For a strictly

limited 12 week run, Funny Girl returns to the West End in the year of the show’s fiftieth

London anniversary Having sold out its entire Menier Chocolate Factory run in just 90 minutes,

fans of Smith now have the opportunity to see the show in the West End at the Savoy Theatre.

The musical is based on the life of Fanny Brice, a comedienne and Broadway and film actress.

Outlining Brice’s rise to fame, the show also showcases the “funny girl’s” tempestuous

relationship with Nick Arnstein, a well-known entrepreneur and gambler in his day. Funny

Girl features the musical numbers “Don’t Rain on my Parade”, “I’m The Greatest Star”, “People” and

“The Music That Makes Me Dance.”
