Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration
Gehlen Catholic “Then Feed Just One”
Did You Know?
Did you know…that anyone who is willing to donated
$30 is invited to pack food for an hour and a half at the Gehlen/Spalding packing event on May 3 or 4?
Did you know…you can adopt a student to pack TFJO
food for you?
Did you know…because the students are so proficient at
packing food, their donations only pay for half of the food they
produce, making it necessary for us to receive outside
donations to cover the food cost?
Please mark these important dates on your
calendar and plan to join us on our Then Feed
Just One packing days – Thursday, May 3, and
Friday, May 4, 2018!

THEN FEED JUST ONE (TFJO): is a non-profit corporation with a mobile food packaging program that packages life-saving, nutritious meals for starving children and their families in Honduras. TFJO seeks to alleviate hunger and malnutrition in the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The name is taken from a quote of Saint Mother Teresa: “If you cannot feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”
In cooperation with various organizations in Honduras, the food is distributed to the most needy in orphanages, homes and throughout the general population. Gehlen Catholic School will host a packaging event on May 3-4; donations pay for the food.

Rummage anyone???
I’ve had a few people ask if we’re having a rummage sale this summer at All Saints Parish.. it’s up to you….we would need at least 2 people to chair this event….and would also need many helpers. It’s a big job but it’s fun too. Deb & I chaired it for many years and I can’t do it without her. But if anyone would like to take on this project….go for it!!!
Congratula ons to the following young people who will receive their First Holy Communion today! Please
con nue to pray for them and all our youth as they con nue to develop a personal rela onship with Jesus!

I would also like to thank all our amazing
