Every Exterior wall shall be free from holes, breaks, loose or rotted boards or timbers, and any other conditions which might admit rain or dampness to the interior portions of the walls or to occupied spaces of the building. All exterior surface materials, including woods and composition or metal siding, shall be maintained weatherproof and shall be adequately protected against deterioration through the periodic application of paint or other approved protective coatings.

All siding and masonry joints as well as those between the building envelope and the perimeter of windows, doors, and skylights shall be maintained weather resistant and water tight. All metal surfaces subject to rust and corrosion shall be coated to inhibit such rust and corrosion and all surfaces with rust or corrosion shall be stabilized and coated to inhibit future rust and corrosion. Oxidation stains shall be removed from exterior surfaces. Surfaces designed for stabilization by oxidation are exempt form this requirement.

Code Enforcement Procedures

Corridor Keeper will visit site and document code violation

Documentation form will include:

Picture of the violation

Address (including jurisdiction)

Indication of previous violations (date)

Specific code violation

If personal contact was made

If educational materials were provided

Documentation form will be emailed, faxed or delivered to municipal code enforcement officer

All records will be up-dated at the end of each day in a data base program

Municipal code enforcement officer will follow up on the Corridor Keeper documentation in the same manner in which they would

respond to any received notice of violation

Each municipal code enforcement officer will keep track of documentation provided by Corridor Keeper

Each municipal code enforcement officer will inform the Corridor keeper of community assistance programs/community
