Green Project Reserve (GPR) funding is a program designated by the EPA to promote green infrastructure by funding projects and products that provide water and energy efficiency improvements. The Eclipse #7500 and #7600 provides comparable flow rates for flushing and scouring but at half the cost of a fire g ghydrant! Fire hydrants provide fire protection for 250 feet on either side of the unit, but when placed on dead ends the downstream area of protection is wasted (see illustration below). Install the Yard Hydrant Companion first, and then slide any ¾” yard hydrant down the sleeve and screw it onto the Yard Hydrant Companion’s internal ¾” nipple. Clamps at the ground line hold the hydrant in place. Then, if your hydrant needs to be replaced it can be done WITHOUT DIGGING! Just undo the clamps unscrew the entireDIGGING! Just undo the clamps, unscrew the entire hydrant and then either repair and replace or install a new hydrant into the sleeve. Available in any depth of bury.
