Pinellas County parks and preserves, except Fort De Soto Park, are closed on
December 25 and the day after Thanksgiving.

The Parks & Conservation Resources Administrative Offices, which includes UF/IFAS Pinellas County Extension, are open Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm.

The Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide leadership and financial support for the Florida Botanical Gardens.
Volunteers enjoy sponsoring events and overseeing the Botanical Bounty gift shop, memorials, memberships, donations and sponsorships as well as assisting with
upkeep and maintenance of the gardens. Events include: Holiday Lights in the Gardens, a Gift and Plant sale, a Dog Parade and Diggin‘ The Arts. There are many ways the foundation provides support; volunteers and sponsors are appreciated.
The Pinellas County Historical Society, founded in 1976, is a non-profit 501(c) 3 volunteer organization that supports Heritage Village’s mission to collect, preserve and interpret the history of Pinellas County within the context of Florida history. Special events hosted by the Pinellas County Historical Society include the October Country Jubilee,
December’s Trees and Traditions, January’s Pinellas Folk Festival and June’s Antique Appraisals Fair. Sponsors and volunteers are needed for these annual events which support Heritage Village operations and programs.

The Pin-MAR Antique Car Club Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation founded as a club in Pinellas County, Florida in 1964. (Pin-MAR is an acronym for Pinellas Model-A Restorers.) The Pin-MAR Antique Car Club dedicates time and resources to Heritage Village, including volunteers who run the H.C. Smith General Store, care for the period garage display and maintain the park’s five antique vehicles.
